Vicor (pronounced Vee'-kor) was one of my all time favorite dogs. Bred in Brazil by Alberto Salim Saber Filho from two dogs that I had previously sent to him, Vicor came to the U.S. for a year to finish his American Championship and his CD, and to sire some lovely pups. During his short stud career in the U.S. Vicor sired 11 American Champions, and being the grandsire of Am/Can Ch. Paisley Peterbilt Am/Can CDX, Vicor shows up in many extended pedigrees.

Vicor was a tall exotic dog with a gorgeous outline, lovely spotting, fabulous hindquarters and a beautiful face. I still see traces of my Vicor in "Bo" Slattum and my own delightful "Sidney". One of the most difficult things in my life in dogs was sending Vicor back to Brazil. He was a very special dog.
