Academy 1/48 Mig-21FL Type 77

This is the Academy's offering of the Mig-21PF depcited as the Type77 in the Indian Air Force. C750 was flown by Flt Lt. Bharat Soni when he downed Wing Cdr. M.E.Middlecoat's Starfighter over the Rann of Kutch.

The Academy kit is accurate and has a great fit. I had alot of fun building it and since this was my first serious attempt at achieving NMF. FOD covers were scratch built, hyrdraulic lines were added to the landing gears and the kit's ejection seat was beefed up.
