Radio Stations On My Dial |
Listed below are the radio stations I listen to. Tey make my commute so much easier and I would not know what to do if these stations did not exist. |
WNEW, powered by Opie & Anthony. Their radio show is the best. People may claim they are a Howard Stern rip off or clone. Fine, Howard may be the first, but O&A do it far better. I listen to them every day on the way home. They are now being syndicated and I hope everyone around the country wil be able to her them. Check out their stuff on their unoffical website www.foundrymusic.com. |
This station kicks ass. It's a heavy metal station and they play a lot of bands that are not usually supported by the more commercialized radio stations. This station is, I believe, the biggest college campus radio station anywhere. I play them early in the morning many times to wake me up because they truely rock!! |
K-ROCK was great for when I was in college. It's also home of Howard Stern, but lately he has not been impressing me. He bitches and moans every day and I just grew tired with him. They still play great music, but lately the startion has been sucking. |
The RAT does rock. They play a great variety selection of music down by the Jersey Shore. They are the 9 in a row rock station. |
G 106.3 declined recently. Before it was 106.3 FM and it was a great Alternative Rock Station that supported many of the local bands, but now it more commercialized. It's a damm shame, but they play great music. |
There are times I am just not in the mood for alternative rock or heavy metal. The Point provides me with great music from the 80's and 90's. |
