The life programme is calculated for possible last 10 years in which the daughters must be brought up and the main planned works finalised demanding almost all energy and time.
There are 5 main tasks to be finalised. For the Baltic linguistics 2 of them are of especial importance:
Definition of the Northern boundary of pre-historical Peripheral Baltic and Lists of all historical geographical names of former East- and West-Prussia, their changes by the Nazis and by the Soviets, indication of their origin and available reconstruction of all Old Prussian and Lithuanian names.

Definition of the Northern boundary of pre-historical Peripheral Baltic.
Peripheral Baltic are a group of dialects, from which later West Baltic (e.g. future Prussian dialects, as well as Slavic, according to V. Maziulis, V. Toporov, V. Martynov) developed. Letas Palmaitis has gathered starting material showing that the Northern boundary of Peripheral Balts was in Ingermanland. The hypothesis fits to the newest ideas about Baltic substratum of the Finnish nation. Dr. L. Palmaitis is able to elaborate the hypothesis together with any Finno-Ugrist who is aware of the structure and history of the Baltic languages provided at least more than 1 year may be spent at some Finno-Ugrian research centre and Baltic Finnish studied. A volunteer scholar, who speaks all Baltic Finnish languages and comprehends Lithuanian and Prussian, is Dr. Nicolas Kirsanov at Helsinki University.Sponsorship or grant is necessary.
