When I queried about a Newton
Cook, Bob was kind enough to forward this information to me. He didn't have anything in
his database on Newton Cook;
however, did have the Cook Bible records. This family lived in Cynthiana,
Kentucky. Following are the records:

Cyrus Beecher Cook (son
of Stephen B. Cook and Lydia Beecher) -Born Forge Springs, Lancaster
County, Pa., on March 31,
1823; died Nov. 14, 1880, at Cynthiana, Ky. He married Permelia
Catherine Knight, of Hagerstown,
Maryland (daughter of Sam and Catherine Crist Knight), on the 19th of Nov.,
1844. Permelia Catherine Knight was born in Washington Co., Md., Dec. 9,
1828; died. June, 1905, at Cynthiana, Ky.
