Here are a few Roach Family Researchers from the Tennessee and Kentucky Roach families. I'm most interested in family members which were in the Jackson Purchase Area of Kentucky and nearby Tennessee.

When I saw the picture of your great great Mary Emma Roach I was astonished as she looks like a twin sister to my great granfather L. Roach. My grandfather and great grandfather are bured in the South East section of Graves County Ky.

Sherry Ohm [email protected] Researching the family of Martin H. DAVIS/wife Dici PLOWMAN, and related lines: BURKLOW, Miles H. who married Eliza ROACH in Calloway Co; later moved to Johnson Co, Ill. His son married Eliza Parazade DAVIS, daughter of Martin and Dici Davis.
Lee Cate [email protected] Elizabeth Ann "Bettie" ROACH who married John CHANDLER in Henry County, TN. I got this information off of the death certificate of their daughter who was born October 10, 1848. It also says that John was born in Virginia and Bettie was born in Tennessee. I am interested in contacting anyone who has information about the ROACH and HAMBY families of Graves County, KY. James Porter ROACH was born in Wilson County, TN in 1823 and died in Graves County, KY in the 1860's. His wife was Martha HAMBY who was born in 1821 and died in 1888. This family lived on Panther Creek near Golo in Graves County.

Her Roach files are out in the garage and much too cold for me to get at them just now. I will send the WILLIAM ROACH WILL as soon as I find it. Her gggrf was HENRY K. ROACH who went from around Nashville, Tenn. to Graves Co. Ky ca 1830. His wife was Chleo Alice Burnham. She believes some of his brothers may have migrated into other Ky counties but have not researched them. The father of Henry was William Roach of near Nashville.
