The surnames in my mother's Family Tree are found in multiple genealogies worldwide and do not necessarily mean we have a strong DNA connection, although we may have a weak autosomal connection since the Danes took over many countries in Europe for a few hundred years such as sections of England and France. The surname and name lists were produced using Personal Ancestral File (PAF), which *was* freely distributed by "LDS" The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints(Mormons).
You may be aware that except for 1 or 2 exceptions the 'newer' genealogy programs automatically harvest data from your computers unless you take time to stop it (definitely a tech support issue) although most APPS are never safe.
