Sharp Wizard OZ-800 Review
This is a "user's viewpoint" review of the new OZ-800

Go here for oz-800 links.

I ordered my OZ-800 from Radio Shack's website (apparently you can't get the OZ-800 anywhere else in the USA) on December 25, 2002, and the unit arrived at my home on December 30, 2002. (It is called the ZQ-800P in England and Russia, where it sells for about $175, USA currency.) Here's a photo of the package as it arrived:

The price of the unit was $69.99, and there is a mail-in rebate of $20, so my final price will be $49.99. As of June, 2003, the OZ-800 is often available on EBay for less than $40.

The OZ-800 arrived in A1 condition, however, in my opinion it could have been packed more carefully. There was some bubble material over the top of the unit, but there was no packing material at all under the unit.

The OZ-800 come in a blister pack similar to that of the OZ-770. Here's a picture of the OZ-800 in the blister pack.

From left to right you can see the free leather wallet, the OZ-800, and the end of the link-cable to use with your PC. Underneath the OZ-800 you can see the CD that contains software to tie the OZ-800 and your PC together. The CD looks like this:
