In pursuit of mass-marketing, Sharp continues to
dis-continue the excellent OZ-700 series Wizard Organizer,
in favor of cheaper organizers. The Radio Shack model RS-29,
actually a Sharp EL-6996c, is a new effort, and
is sold exclusively by Radio Shack in the USA for $39.99.

The EL-6996c is a beefed up EL-6920, and has the same "form-factor." Radio Shack arranged for Sharp to increase the RAM to one megabyte, and to enlarge the Spanish/English dictionary to 10,000 words. They have also built in the ability to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook. Otherwise, it seems to be the same unit.
