The Sharp Corporation no longer produces its finest
Wizard Organizer, the OZ-770 (or any of the excellent
OZ-700 series). It is becoming increasingly difficult
to find a replacement for your worn-out OZ-770. The
cost for a new one is now about $250 on EBay (as of
October, 2004).
As I searched for a replacement for my trusty OZ-770
I stumbled over the Windows-CE H/PC's (Handheld PC's).
NEC still produces a new Mobile Pro (900), however all the
other "handhelds", like the OZ-770, are out of production.
The MobilePro 770 is available on EBay, and I paid $100 for mine,
in mint condition. I spent another $10 for a AA batter adaptor,
and $10 for a CD of hundreds of freeware and shareware
applications/games etc. for the MobilePro's operating
system: Windows CE 2.11.
Here is a photo of the MobilePro 770 with all the stuff that came with it,
and the extra stuff I bought: there is a sync cable, sync software,
the 2.11 software cd, Outlook 2000, a cable for running a monitor from
the 770, an AC power adapter, the extra AA battery pack, etc.
