| Personal Comments I like Pia Zadora very much, but this is really a very bad film. In all fairness, she�s no great actress, but she�s not the only one to blame for this fiasco : from the director to the make-up artist�s assistant, they�ve all made an indispensable contribution to this bad-movie-milestone. I've read the book and it contains the usual Harold Robbins' ingredients : sex, drugs, sex, alcohol, sex, glamour and sex. When all this is equally spread over more than 300 pages, you can cope with it. When all this sleaze is crammed into 90 minutes, it gets a lot tougher. But sleaze can be fun. Unfortunately, Lonely Lady isn't. |
