Shell: Smaller and narrower than Cypraea tigris, The sides are more vertical and the teeth more numerous. White to grey and brown, with many small dark spots. Base is white.
Animal: The radula is taenioglossan.
Region: Red Sea
Habitat: Infralittoral; it normally lives on top of corals, and so is easy prey for even inexpert collectors.
