- Shell: Plump, flecked with round white dots on ash to greyed yellow. Sides with lines over whitish base to teeth. A solid, ovate, or elliptical shell with a slightly convex base and somewhat bumpy margin. Teeth short and thick. Creamy brown with broad bands of darker brown, overlaid with porcelainlike spots. Margin faintly striped; base and teeth white, tinged with beige. teeth on outer lip thicker and more numerous than those opposite.
