| Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, abbreviated NT:TNM was produced by Saban, the producer of Power Rangers. It ran on Fox Kids network from 1997-1998. It was short-lived, only lasting 26 episodes. The series introducd new elements to the Turtles including a 5th turtle! The 5th turtle went by the name of Venus De Milo, and was female. Venus defeated the Shredder within a few episodes, and led to a new rival; the DragonLord. NT:TNM had geeky humer and horrible fight scenes with sound effects that get annoying after awhile even though it showed more action then the cartoon series. The Next Mutation will always be apart of the TMNT history no matter what. |
