Lighthouse

The Olivine lighthouse was built to prevent ships from crashing
into the rocks. The lighthouse is a formidable training hall with
many trainers waiting to battle other trainers.
In the year 2000, the beacon (an Ampharos) fell ill. The gym
leader, Jasmine, cared for it while a trainer went to the Cianwood
Pharmacy to get some medicine for the poor Ampharos. |
Olivine
Port
| Olivine City is famous for being a port city. Here is the pier
where the S.
S. Aqua docks. It sails from here to Vermillion
City every other day. |

Battle
Tower

To the West of Olivine City is the tall Battle Tower. The Battle
Tower is so tall, that nobody can see the top! In here, pokémon
battles are held between trainers with just three pokémon and no
items. The trainer that beats all the others gets a prize!

Gym
| Jasmine
is the Gym Leader in Olivine City. She uses steel type pokémon to
defend her badge. She’s also know for having taken care of the
lighthouse beacon, an Ampharos, when it fell ill back in the year
2000. |
