Talking points: "Phil. gov't assures Human Rights security"
The government assured everyone that Human Rights in the country is respected even by the police and the the military.
this was jointly stated by the officials of the Phlipipne National Police (PNP) and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR)
during the edition of "Talking Points"..
The Philippine National Police is represented by PNP Human Rights Affairs Office head Supt. Jesse Perez and non-uniformed persnnel Marieper Mapano.
On the other hand, CHR is represented by Human Rights Education and Research Office(HRERO) Director Elsie Ofreneo.
Perez said PNP cheif Director General Raul M. Bacalzo has directed all police regional offices (PROs) to conduct a Human Rights Simenar Workshop to all PNP personnel, especially those assigned with the Human Rigths Desk.
He said the seminar-workshop aims to equip police of their personnel with professionalismand courtesy, especially in dealing with the public and during poli operations.
