Me, ca. 1999, I think, near the Pride Moose in Toronto
Fun with blasphemy
Tell me, baby, what's my name?
The anti-family crest
For those to whom it woofin' matters, my bear code follows (updated 03/29/09).

And here's a little poem proving my dedication to the Fur. :)

And here's a button given to me by Mr. Bill, who was in turn given it by the band in question's former merchandise guy, who also gave him a patch I sent to a deserving young ursine in the Toronto area (wonder if the donor was the same fellow over whom I was panting at a cub concert many years ago, who convinced me to buy the PINK t-shirt? *eg*).
And, of course, since Bill is a revenant on a scale of persistence (but definitely not of evil) rivalling Mr. Fred Phelps, here is a pun he sent to me for my horror and disgust.
Here's something my Boy sent me from Usenet!
Here's a recent picture of me (taken March 14, 2009).
I'm sure some people would say this picture screams out for Queer Eye For the Straight Guy (me in 1979 or so), but: (a) I believe that my posting it here indicates its powerlessness as a pawn in blackmail and (b) the mere mention of that show causes ME to cry out for a shotgun.
Persevering perversely in flogging the dead horse of dedicated, loveable fellows (it would be much more entertaining to lay the whip directly to the guys, I should think... :) ) - finally got to meet Scott Treleaven. Here's evidence, from the oft-mentioned Fruit Market, in Toronto, March 30, 2003 - oh, and so incriminating!! Do I really feel obliged to grope every man I meet? Evidently.... Needless to say, a full, detailed report has been created so you can live vicariously through my exciting whirlwind existence (note: if my daily misadventures DO strike you as thrilling, this is one of the sure signs of a terrifying hole at the centre of your consciousness...). There was also a new Fruit Market that took place at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto on April 17, 2004 - one on April 17, 2005 and April 30, 2006 - and May 5, 2007, at 519 Community Centre.
I am perhaps most (in)famous for NOISE QUEEN, my zine from 1996 to 2001. Now I have another one (though here's some info on all my 'zines to date, updated on December 1, 2008)!
This zine (20 issues done plus a print best-of #21), PONYBOYS(formerly known as MY HEROES ALWAYS HAVE BEEN PONYBOYS, whose title was derived from a movie, as well as a song by Ian Tyson (both entitled MY HEROES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COWBOYS), and the sub-culture of men who like to dress up and act as horses (there are PONYGIRLS too, of course, but not in THIS 'zine's purvey :)), but now known as PONYBOYS because that's what everyone called it anyways :)) came after a flurry of activity in early 2001 (mini-poetry 'zine, SINGING IN SPRING, 1/2001; last issue of NOISE QUEEN, 3/2001; big poetry 'zine, SISTER I'M A POET - ALL OVER THIS TOWN, 4/2001), partially out of desperation, somewhat out of horniness, and slightly out of a creative rush. My explicit goals were to make a 'zine that was gayer, looser, funnier and more obscene than NOISE QUEEN had gradually developed into being - I was feeling constricted by my imposed limits, and I felt a clean break was needed.
On which point... A BEAR SHOULD KNOW BETTER - AND I DO #1!
And continuing... A BEAR SHOULD KNOW BETTER - AND I DO #2!
Here are some shockingly commercial reviews I wrote for a website that only ran a few of them and now is no more.
