More details about my stay at Natura

On my first trip to Puerto Iguazu my girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights in the private rooms. The first night we were in room 1 with a private bath for 300 pesos. To save money we moved to room 3 with a shared bath for 250. Both rooms were ok. Room 1 has air conditioning, but 3 does not.

Room 3 - It was ok but there were some mosquitoes and it was a long way to get to the showers. You have to go downstairs and through the big dorm room to get to them and there were just 4 todal showers, 2 for men and 2 for women. When I was there one of the men's showers did not work and one was busy so I used the women's shower.

Once we ran out of water and at least once the WIFI was not working. I was told it was a problem in the city but I checked some other places and it was working there so it seemed more of a local problem.

There is a sign saying the hostel kitchen is closed after 10 at night and also in the morning so I was afraid to use the kitchen to make breakfast until I asked Vanessa, a helpful employee, if it was ok and she said yes.

Both times when we were there the pool looked very dirty but I jumped in a couple times anyhow and surived.

On our second visit we stayed in room 1 again. This time Bea was very unhappy with the towels as one looked dirty and one looked really old and tattered. She was so unhappy with the towels in fact she didn't want to take a shower. I think if we would have asked for cleaner, newer ones Vanessa would have found some for us but I was also a bit shocked they would give guests towels like that so I recommend they check before they hand them out.

I'd say the best things about Natura are Vanessa and Roberto, another friendly employee. They were both so nice to us that I took a picture of them the first time we visited. (This was even before I had the idea to create this site.)

Vanessa let us stay about 2 hours past check out time before she started getting impatient with us. The second best thing is the location since it is the closest hostel to the bus station, being literally right across the street from the where the busses leave the station.
