I first heard of Nomads hostel from George (Jorge) who works at the ROA Tours tourist information office in the bus station.Today I came by for the second time and met Diego. We had a really nice, long talk and he invited me back for the grand reopening on Saturday Jan 2nd This week the hostel is closed for the holidays and for cleaning, painting etc. . Diego, his brother and sister are the owners/managers of Nomads.

His prices for January 2015 will be

130 - 6 bed dorm

145 - 4 bed dorm

420 - Double room

He currently has a total of 16 beds and later this year will be expanding to 21 beds. He said he doesn't want to grow any larget than that so he can maintain the feeling of a small hsstel and keep the personal feeling with the guests.

Here I am with Diego

More History

Diego has worked in two other hostels here in Puerto Iguazu. He started working at a hostel called Timbo. Later when he found out it was going to close he convinced his father that it would be a good idea to invest in it and keep it going. Diego said Timbo had some of the highest ratings in the city before the hostel relocated to the new location and re-opened as Nomads.
