Past, Present, and Future

Nintendo started out with humble beginnings, with its first major console named the Nintendo Entertainment System. It gained a lot of popularity, and it signaled the start of a gaming dynasty.

Nintendo slowly reeled out more consoles and systems, coming out with the Game Boy, the first handheld since Game & Watch, and NES's next generation console, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Nintendo found its first handheld to be a success, so it came out with the Game Boy Color, the first handheld to produce color images. Falling behind in the gaming consoles business, Nintendo finally came out with its new system, the Nintendo 64.

Even when it was the only company to produce handhelds, Nintendo still came out with more, to the delight of Nintendo fans. It released the Game Boy Advance, which quickly became the leader in handhelds all over the world. Eventually, Nintendo would release its sequel to the N64, the Nintendo Gamecube.

Nintendo came out with its new handheld, the Game Boy Advance SP, the foldable handheld. Later, it would also come out with the Nintendo DS, the dual-screen, pointer based handheld, and the Game Boy Micro, the smallest handheld yet.

Nintendo is currently working on its new console, the Nintendo Revolution. It is reported that it can play any Nintendo game from any console ever released by Nintendo.
