MAJ Steve Long
He was one of the casualties of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon.
Major Long Served in the Ranger Battlions before becoming a Quartermaster Officer.
Major Long attended Quartermaster Officer Basic and recieved advanced training in Fuel Systems.
Major Long attended the Combined Logistic Officer Course, Ft. Lee, VA. (I beleive)
Then Capt. Long was assigned to the 601st Aviation Support Battlion, 1st Infantry Division. Katterbach/Ansbach, Germamy. He served as Battlion S-4 (Logistics) and then was given command of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 601st Avaition Support Battlion. He lead his company to Bosnia, to serve in Operation Joint Guard, SFOR2, Apr- Oct 1997.
