| Huang Rong is Guo Jing's clever wife and the leader of Beggar Sect Kung Fu. She feels responsible for the death of Yang Kang and is worried that one day Yang Guo might discover her dark secret and decide to avenge his father. This is why she always looks at the boy with suspicion and refuses to teach him any kung fu. |
| When Yang Guo saves her life and her daughter's more than once, she begins to see him in a new light. She soon grows to admire his kung fu skills and abilities but still she could not forget that she has a tangible link to Yang Kang's death. |
