A day trip up to Mt Henderson completed my visit to all 3 plateau huts in the Mawson area. This was my first trip on the ice plateau without perfect weather as well. Overcast skies have the unfortunate effect of removing surface definition from the ice (there are no shadows), making depth judgement much more dificult. Driving on this type of surface requires extreme concentration.

This site is designed to be viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your computer can't handle this, it is time to get a new computer!
