EATTING HEALTHY |
I have had people asking me how I have lost my weight. So I have decided to put together this page of references. I have been using a combination of the Formula and Zone materials. This is all based on what they call a balanced way of eatting. It is a 40-30-30 balance. What this means is using 100 calories base or block 40% from carbohydrates, 30% from protein and 30% from fats. The best combination is using low-glycemic fruits and vegetables, lower or non fat protein sorces and good fats from nuts and vegetables. I will let the links make this all more clear as they are the experts. There are 2 computer programs I am using to help me make my meals balanced. I have serveral books with very yummy recipes. I have gotten many recipes from Web sites and there are many helpful pages with lots of information. See my favorite links below. Hope this is a helpful page for those who are interested.
