A brief bio: Walter Parazaider is a Chicago-native, born March 14, 1945. His parents recognized the musical prodigy they had in their son, and supported him in his decision to study music from the time he first picked up the clarinet in elementary school. He finished his degree work at DePaul University in Classical Clarinet Performance (following it up with a Masters in English Lit), and was on his way to being the Principal Clarinetist in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra when he made the switch to sax and formed the first rock band with horns now known as Chicago.
He has a wife of almost 4 decades (Jac-Lynn), and two daughters, and he makes his home somewhere in Nevada. Come on - the man needs SOME privacy!
