The biggest step in
a Tgirls life is over the threshold, heading out the door..

The best
way to find your feet in the T world is to get out there
and meet people.
Sounds easy I know, but it took me years of secret
dressing before I got the nerve to go to a CD support
meeting, the club was the Seahorse Society of NSW.
I have to
tell you I was scared!! After a while I had confidence in
my femme persona, and soon I was going out with the girls
after the meetings, to the TAXI club, and even to a
pizzeria in my local area.

One very memorable night out was
with my friend Siobhan, it was the first night we met, and we had
a great night out! We met at my house, had few drinks, then
caught a cab to the city, which was our first laugh for the
evening. We were in the back of the cab, talking about old
girlfriends when we both realised, just how strange it must have
seemed to the cab driver, who may have been listening! The
evening only got better, we had dinner at a pizza bar in Oxford
St, then went to Gilligans coctail bar. While we were standing
around we started talking to two lovely women, who were drinking
coctails, one of the girls needed help to keep up with her
friend, and she asked Siobhan and I for help. Naturally we
obliged! Siobhan then made a brilliant observation, there we
were, two boys in dresses, and two girls wearing trousers! We
laughed about that for quite a bit, still do!

of us at Gilligans, with Siobhan on the left, and a Tgirl we know
from the Taxi, Lana in between. You may notice from the vacant
expression on my face, the coctails had well and truly done their
work! (I am a bit of a lightweight) *giggle*

As you can see, I

The next Friday night I went out
again with Siobhan, and her girlfriends, Tania, and
aaaah...Juliette! Sounds like a double date? Well I wish!
*(smile)* We went to the Imperial Hotel, which is famous as the
Sydney club featured in the movie "The Adventures of
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" We watched some drag shows,
which were all great, and the Priscilla show was a hoot with
dialogue from the movie mixed in.

2nd Nov 97.. Another
night on the town, I met Siobhan and we went to a few clubs, then
to the Taxi Club, we found Belinda there and we all had a great
night huddled around the bar, having lots of drinks, and laughs.
I discovered Lemon ruskies, (Stoli Vodka & Lemon) Wow!
