Group 1:
The Egg Stage
Your group is the Egg.  This is the first stage of the life cycle.  You will need to research your stage and find out why you are so important. Go to the following website to find the definition of the egg stage. Write it down on the butterfly paper for discussion with your group.
At the link research your stage.  Find out and describe what it looks like and where eggs can be found. Write it on the butterfly paper and draw a picture of it.  You will use this information to discuss with your group and the class. Scroll down to the "EGG STAGE."

Life Cycle Stages
When your group is finished researching the Egg Life Cycle then you are able to make
"Eggs on a Leaf" art project.
Materials Needed:
Green construction paper with a leaf drawn on it (use the template provided), markers, scissors, glue, and
2-3 Q-Tips (the Q-tip ends will be the EGGS)

1. Trace the leaf template onto the green
    construction paper and cut it out.
2. Draw in the leaf veins.
3. Cut the Q-tip ends off of the Q-tips.
4. Glue the Q-tip ends onto the leaf for EGGS.
