DEATH: Alan Clair McCauley, 54, died Tuesday September 25, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
He was born April 25, 1947 in Wellsville, Ohio the son of the late Clair O and Rachel Mobley McCauley, and moved to Youngstown in 1970. Mr. McCauley worked as a driver at General Motors-Lordstown for 30 years, retired in 1/97. He was a member of the UAW 1112 and VFW Post 4237.
He enjoyed billiards, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his second wife, Mary K. Harris Marciella McCauley, whom he married May 13, 1989; three sons Bruce McCauley of Maine, Richard McCauley of Georgia, and David Michael McCauley of Ohio. Three stepdaughters, Theresa Terrigno, Christine Wagner, Deborah Marciella and a stepson John Marciella all from Youngstown. Two sisters, Martha Means of Ohio, Norma Sue Wright of New Jersey, a brother Ronald J. McCauley of Texas; and seven grandchildren. A granddaughter is deceased.
Alan married (1) Shirley BENDER in 1963. The marriage ended in divorce. Shirley was born about 1951.
