Entities were instituted by man to bind them together by certain characteristics such as a common goal, social origin, language, customs and traditions, and in the belief that they are one and distinct from others. Ideological differences and sentimental incompatibility pave the way to misunderstanding between components of mankind. Rival factions, both the agitators and defenders, aspiretoresolve the problems through different means.
The methods employed are governed by the same survival-of-the-fittest theory. War becomes the best means of separating the inferior from the superior types of humanity. It is, moreover, the mentally alert and physically strong who oftenest go to war and run the risk of being battered; while the anatomically weak and intellectually deficient stay behind the enemy lines to watch the progress of war, manufacture its weapons, and determine the strategy.
