When Frank and I got married (1972) Frank had a contract to teach school here in Prince William County.
It ended up to be the first year that the County decided to start school before Labor Day. Anyway, we
had our wedding planned well in advance for August 26th. School started that year on August 28th....
the Principal of Sudley School allowed Frank whatever time he needed off "before the wedding" but he
needed to be there the first day of school. Needless to say, we never had a honeymoon, we drove from
PA to VA on Sunday and he started work on Monday. Our honeymoon and wedding gift to each other was the
Vette.....what a fairy tale. Here we are, 39 years later reliving our younger years and wishing we
had kept the Vette, our beauty, our love and our wonderful memories or our
