The Virginia Muscle Car

Oil pan - Road race design w/ 4 trap doors; has threaded areas for oil temp sender and dip stick.

Shows: near drivers seat - red handle for fire suppression system (foam via AL tube to engine and fuel tank areas.) Also black handle on dash is for battery shutoff. Side windows and 1/4 window in place and mirror & seats and belts. Seats are in in place/final. Need to test fit trans w/ short block to get shifter loc. in order to finish console.

Paint after color sanding (800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000) then compounding and polishing. Paint is Dupli-Color PaintShop lacquer: base coat and clear coat. Should look better after good wax. Color is actually darker (Midnight Blue).

All wiring/lights are in place after painting. Hood has been fitted and bolted in place i.e final.

Will be starting on engine / trans assembly this week. Actually heads first - need to change springs and rocker studs. ~George
