The Virginia Muscle Car

In the 1970s I had two Challengers, a 1970 RT and 1974 Rally. The pictures on this page are of the 1974 Challenger Rally, that I bought new, and was a very nice car for the years I had it.

It has a 360 V8 (biggest engine for the Challenger after 1972) and it had an automatic.

If I remember right it had metallic burnished gold paint with white vinyl top with white interior.

When I sold it, it was to a young man from Duluth who just absolutely wanted it and did not even try to get a lower price for it. He saw it, fell in love with it, and bought it right out.

For the 1970 RT, I have no pics for but, strangely enough, it was black with the red RT stripe down the side and a red interior. However, my new Challenger is colored the same way, but the car is red and the stripes and interior are black. What can I say? ~SteveS
