| Commentary A nice quick, easy route with great views of mountains and the Flathead Lake. The East side of the route runs along the foot hills of the Swan Range by the Lake. (The lake is 26 miles long, 6 to 10 miles wide.) The West side of the route tends to be a little more arid from Polson and 3/4 of the way up to Somers. (Pronounced Summers.) Gas, food, tourism abound. You certainly can't go wrong with this ride. |

| From Kalispell - Take Hwy 93 South out of town - Take LEFT to MT 82 (Somer's Cut off) - At "T", turn right onto MT 35 - In Polson, Turn RIGHT onto Hwy 93 North - Follow to Kalispell (or where ever) Variation From Kalispell - Follow highway 2 East out of town - At the K-Mart, continue straight onto Hwy 35 (where Hwy 2 turn North) - Pick up route from Bigfork |
