Baler is located in the mid-eastern part of Luzon at coordinates between 15*47�36� and 16*09�05� North latitudes and 121*47�32� East longtitudes.

It is bounded by the municipalities of Dipaculao and Maria Aurora in the northwest, San Luis in the southwest, Baler Bay in the north, and the Pacific Ocean in the east. Baler has a total land area of 9,255 hectares.



The municipality of Casiguran is located at the northern part of Aurora Province, about 121 kms, from Baler, capital town of Aurora Province. It lies between 26o 01 �39� and 16o 21� 53� north latitudes and between 121 52� 23� and 122 14� 14� east longitudes. It is bounded on the northern east by the municipality of Dilasag, on the southwest by Dinalungan, on the northwest by Quirino Province and southeast by the Pacific Ocean.

Dilasag is the northernmost of the Province of Aurora, roughly 145 km. From Baler, the capital town of the province. It lies between 16O 18� 21� to 16O 30� 47� north latitudes and 122O 00� 18.5� to 122O14� 45� east latitudes. The municipality is bounded on the north by Dinapigue, Isabela, on the northwest by Quirino Province, on the south by Casiguran town and on the east by great Pacific Ocean.

The municipality of Dinalungan is situated at the Northern part of the Aurora Province, roughly 80 kilometers from Baler, the capital town of the province. Its lies between 16o 04� 47� to 16o 17� 04� north latitudes and 121o 44�21� to 121o 59�34� east longitudes. The area is bounded on the Northwest by Quirino Province, on the southeast by the Casiguran Sound, and on the northeast and southwest by the municipality of Casiguran and Dipaculao, respectively.

The municipality of Dinalungan is situated at the Northern part of the Aurora Province, roughly 80 kilometers from Baler, the capital town of the province. Its lies between 16o 04� 47� to 16o 17� 04� north latitudes and 121o 44�21� to 121o 59�34� east longitudes. The area is bounded on the Northwest by Quirino Province, on the southeast by the Casiguran Sound, and on the northeast and southwest by the municipality of Casiguran and Dipaculao, respectively

The municipality of Dipaculao is part of the Province of Aurora. It is situated approximately at the center of the Province. It absolute geographic position is 150 47� 36� to 160 09� 05� North latitude and 1210 47� 19� to 1210 47� 32� East Longitude. It is roughly 12 kilometers from Baler the capital town of Aurora. Dipaculao shares its boundary on the Northeast within the municipality of Dinalungan, on the southeast within the municipality of Baler and on the southwest within the municipality of Maria Aurora. It is bounded on the northwest by the province of Quirino and by the Philippine Sea by the East.

Maria Aurora is the only land locked town among the eight (8) municipalities in the Province of Aurora and is geographically located between east longitude 1200 16� 30� and 1210 32� 00� and north latitudes 150 55� 00� and 150 39� 00�. Baler and Dipaculao bound it on the East, San Luis on the south, the province of Nueva Ecija in the west and the province of Nueva Ecija on the northwest. The municipality has a total land area of 40,518 hectares based on Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) Data covering 13. 52% of the total land area of the whole province. However, 42, 619 hectares is being applied in the computation of internal Revenue Allotment by the Department if Budget and Management.

The municipality of San Luis is one of the eight (8) towns that comprise the province of Aurora. The province of Aurora is located at the eastern coast the land of Luzon directly facing the vast Pacific Ocean. Aurora is topographically separated from Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog by the north to south stretch of the Sierra Madre Mountain range. The town of San Luis is located in the south central portion of the province. San Luis is 7 kilometers from the provincial capital of Baler, 108 kilometers from Cabanatuan City and 423 kilometers northeast of Manila. The municipality of san Luis is located between Latitude 150 28� 00� to 150 42� 00� North and Longitudes 1210 16� 00� to 1210 35� 00� East. San Luis is bounded on the by the municipality of Maria Aurora, on the south by the town of Dingalan, on the east by the town of Baler, and the province of Nueva Ecija on its west.
