Notes on the Elite Aces from Cary Thomas, son of Claude Thomas.
The first picture of the Elite Aces was taken at the Bowring in the early to mid forties, Claude Thomas's Dad in black at back, on drums. 
The crooner was Gladys, who was married to Gunboat Jack at that time.
The second picture of the Elite Aces, was taken in the grounds of the Bangalore Club (then the BUS Club) in the thirties.
Freddie Hitchcock is seated second left, playing sax at that time. Claude Thomas's Dad is seated right with guitar.
