Flor de Escocia

La flor de Escocia es el himno de la selecci�n de Escocia y sin duda es uno de los mas entra�ables cantos de los escuchados antes del comienzo de un partido. La historia del himno data de siglos atr�s cuando las tropas inglesas intentaban avanzar hacia Escocia y los soldados Escoceses dormian en su campamento, mientras los soldados ingleses aprobechaban la c�lida noche y su silencio para invadir Escocia, un soldado ingl�s pis� un cardo y el ruido de este hizo despertar a las tropas escocesas para ganar la batalla. De ah� que se acog�o este emblem�tico s�mbolo para representar a la selecci�n. Es por ello que "el 15 del cardo" pisputa los partidos con una motivaci�n especial frente "al 15 de la rosa" la selecci�n de Inglaterra.
