So to sum all this up......

Let me mention a song Kermit the Frog sings titled "GREEN". At the end he sings; "I’m am green, it’ll do fine, it’s beautiful and I think it’s what I want to be"……Well someone once said: "to know me is to love me", and I really really love trains. Riding in a opened windowed coach behind a steam locomotive, the smell of coal smoke and the sound of wheels on rails, together with the gentle rocking motion of the car rates right up there with Lassie coming home, or whale songs, catching the glimpse of a falling star or a double rainbow, the birth of a new baby colt or the leaves changing color in the fall. I was born a Leo. I admit I’m a hopeful romantic. Trains are a symbol of both romance and love for me. If nothing else, trains remind me of the love I shared and memories I will always cherish of my deceased father. Why do I love trains so much?  For me Trains mean life and love, hope and memories, warmth, lasting emotions. Trains for me are a symbol of the love shared within our family.  In one sentence I would say; "Trains are perhaps the single common thread shared on all sides of my family. They helped build this great state and country.  I'm glad I was  alive to experience some it all. Trains + Love = Family"

.

I could rattle on about trains for hours. Believe me there is lots more to this story. But just like Rodeos, either you like it or you don’t. So all I can say is TRY IT, YOU MIGHT LIKE IT. Take care and God Bless the USA!

"Headaches and heartaches and all kinds of pain, are all apart of a railroad train, the sweat and blood - the good and the grand, are apart of the life a railroad man -

Casey Jones, climbed in a cabin - Casey Jones, orders in his hand - Casey Jones, leaning out the window, taking a trip to the promise land."
