Recipe - 31.

Ice Tea Syrup
7 cups water
28 tea bags
4 cups sugar

Boil water, add and steep tea bags 10-15 minutes.  Remove tea bags, bring tea to a boil and add sugar.  Continue to boil until the liquid becomes foamy.  Remove pan from heat, cool and refrigerate or pack and freeze.  Keeps for several weeks in refrigerate.

To make Ice Tea: Dilute 1 part syrup to 7 parts water.

1 cup syrup + 7 cups water = 8 cups or 2 quarts
2 cups syrup + 14 cups water = 16 cups or 1 gallon

*Note:  I've grown used to drinking my tea, hot or cold, with very little or no sugar.  So, when I make this syrup, I only use 2 cups sugar.  Also, 28 tea bags makes a pretty dark tea, I use 14.
