FAVORITE MUSIC: Almost anything goes. Oldies from late 50's, early 60's. New Wave of the 80's, cowboy music, movie soundtracks, and some punk, Latin, electronic, stuff made with computers.  About the only types I find hard to listen to are RAP, HIP HOP, and really hardcore JAZZ. I must be getting old, because last night I was listening to a local "POP" station for about 2 hours, and there wasn't one song I liked enough to shop for.  However, at 7pm the 80's SHOW came on, and for the next 3 hours, every single song that the DJ played, I have either as a 45, LP, or CD. And in some cases, I have all three.
MUSIC CD'S I'M LISTENING TOO NOW:   Wanda Jackson - Queen Of Rockabilly, Bob Welch - French Kiss, Bleach - Bleach, David Crowder Band - Can You Hear Us, Joy Electric - Robot Rock, The Benjamin Gate - Untitiled, Deep Blue Something - Home, Grand Theft Audio - Blame Everyone, Green Day - Warning, Go West - Go West, Lari White - Wishes, Live - Five, Soft Cell - Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret, The Beatles - Revolver, Tracy Byrd - Ten Rounds, etc.
CONCERTS I'VE BEEN TO IN THE PAST 20 YEARS OR SO: Faith Hill, Clay Walker, Diamond Rio, The Kinleys, Doug Supernaw, Daryle Singletary, John Michael Montgomery, Tim McGraw, Chris Ledoux, Vern Gosdin, Chad Brock, Rhett Akins, Trace Adkins, Bellamy Brothers, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, Kiss, Billy Idol, ASIA, Men At Work, Fleetwood Mac, KIX, The Producers, Blue Oyster Cult....
DVD'S I'VE SEEN RECENTLY: I been collecting and watching mostly TV shows, most recent are Bewitched, Green Acres, Farscape Season 4, Buck Rogers in the 21st Century, The Brini Maxwell Show, LOST, Desperate Housewives, Brisco County JR, JAG, Rawhide, Big Valley, etc.
FAVORITE MOVIES: Brokeback Mountian, STAR WARS (chapter 4), The Station Agent, Into The Dust, 9 Dead Gay Guys, Day the Earth Stood Still, The Holiday Affair,  etc.
CELEBRITIES I LIVE NEAR: Davy Jones (one of the Monkees) lives nearby, my mother has waited on him at Kmart several times, and parents of a friend of mine have seen him at several public auctions. James Francis Davidson (from Pacific Blues) grew up on the Island Q, he walked past my front porch everyday to school. I can honestly say I graduated with a TV Star....
Heroes: Chris LeDoux, Steve Reeves, Eric Fleming as: Gil Favor RAWHIDE Trail-boss , Mike Henry as Tarzan
People I have a lot of Respect for:  Garbage collectors, road construction crews, people who clean for a living, any factory worker or store personnel who works 3rd shift, Truckers, anyone who works outside year round, cowboys/farmers/etc.
FAVORITE FOODS: Pizza, Shrimp, Banana Splits, Soft Warm Pretzels, cheese cake, hoagies, Ice Cream Mint Chip-Raspberry-Butter Pecan, strawberry pie, just to name a few. You see they're mostly "junk" food, so let me say I don't eat this stuff everyday. Sometimes I just get a craving for something like a medium-rare steak or "LEMON", and just have to go with the flow until the urge passes. Oh, and this might seen strange, but I love "cold" smoked sausage. You know, the leftovers.
How I got my nickname:  Before I stated kindergarten, I received a phonograph for Christmas.   Along with 6 racks full of my dad's and aunt Shirley's teen 45s.   We're talking Elvis, The Everly Brother, Ricky Nelson, Brenda Lee, and my favorite - "Bobby Vee"..... On the flip side of his "Take Good Care Of My Baby" was a tune titled - "Bashful Bob".... I was very shy when I was younger.  In fact, even when visiting favorite relatives - they had to all but force me to eat or ask for a drink.   Since I was always carrying my favorite 45's around, and "Bashful Bob" was one of them, my one Aunt started calling be Bobby.  It also helped because I'm a junior. So, my father was Big Bob and I was Little Bobby. It just went from there.  Now, only very dear and trusted friends, and close family still call me that.   You know you are a true friend when I say " you can call me "Bobby".
