We are from Carencro, Louisiana, [pronounced karen crow] this area is known as Acadiana,the heart of Cajun Country. Acadiana has its own unique heritage and culture, totally distinct from the rest of the country. The official capital of Acadiana is Lafayette. Surrounding Lafayette are several towns and villages carrying on the traditions of the Acadians, or Cajuns, as they are commonly known. You can learn more about the Cajuns by clicking

Mark retired in 2002 from
Lafayette Consolidated Government he worked as a Shift Foreman for twenty-five years.
Madeline works for an Electrical Co-op as a Data Entry
Clerk.
We were married on July 23,1976 and we are both graduates of Carencro High School. We have two wonderful children,
Todd is 29 and Rachel is 25. Click on their names and you can visit their home pages.
Mark is 48, he was born in Church Point, Louisiana. He still enjoys racing cars and customizing his truck.
Madeline is 46. I am kept busy between work, home, husband, kids and my seven grandchildren.
We have two spoiled house cats Mr Mooney and Lucy.
We also have an eight year old dog Cuda.

"Little Angels"
When God calls little children to dwell with him above, we mortals
sometimes question the wisdom of his love. For no heart-ache compares
with the death of one small child,who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his
fold, so he picks a rosebud, before it can grow old. God knows how much
we need them, and so he takes but few, to make the land of Heaven more
beautiful to view. Believing is difficult, but somehow we must try,
the saddest word mankind knows will always be "Good-bye." So when a
little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves
children, and angels are hard to find.
