Tribute to My Dad

My dad has been one of the two greatest heroes of my life. As soon as I can, I am going to fill up this page in honor of his life. For now, I would like to share with you a poem that Catherine Dube
posted on the Internet in memory of her father. She has sent her blessings and has given me permission for me to share it with you.

While Angels Sing
by Catherine Dube

You have left us
but you are not gone.
Your journey on this earth is over
but you will walk with us forever more.
You have left us
but you are not gone.
As we wash our faces with our tears
you will dry them with your gentle smile.
You have left us
but you are not gone.
Our sweet tasting memories are in our hearts
and we are wrapped in your eternal soul.
You have left us
but you are not gone.
You can hear our every prayer
and while we listen to the angels sing
your voice will be among them.
You have left us
but you are not gone.
When we hold out our trembling hands
we will feel your strength once more.
You have left us
but you are not gone.
Your undying love will keep us strong
just as it has all these years before you left us.
But you are not gone,
you are with us more than ever before.
