All the Families
Genealogy all started for me back in the 1980's when I found out that my X-husband had a family tree. We obtained a copy of it, and upon reading it I found it very interesting. Then I recieved from my Uncle a list of grandparents. Then he sent me some of the cousins to go with it. That is when the Genealogy bug really bit me. I am no expert at it and consider myself a newbie. I learn a lot out here on the web. There are so many informative sites on the "How to of Genealogy". This page will connect to the Families that Tie. I recently discovered that my X-husband and my Husband are 8th cousins 1 removed and that my children and husband are 9th cousins. I almost fell off my chair! On these pages I have created small charts of these Families and also the Families that I am researching on my mother's side of the Family. I am also composing a links page which will be on each family page.
I have discovered recently that the Bosworth family has connections to the Mayflower. This being by Joanna Cushman who is a descendant of Issac Allerton and Mary Norris to their daughter Mary Allerton and Thomas Cushman. John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley to their daughter Hannah who married Jonathan Bosworth.
In the Dudley family Degory Priest and Sarah Allerton sister of Isaac. Their daughter Mercy Priest and Phinehas Pratt. Other famous family names are Roger Conant, Thomas Sweet, Roger Williams and more for both families.
