Who haven't thought about what is "out there"?
Who haven't thought about extraterrestrial intelligence?
Who haven't thought about what the future will bring?

These are the most asked question when we talk about Science Fiction. Nobody knows if there is life out there and if it is intelligent. But to cite Jodie Foster in 'Contact': "The universe is too big only for us human beings. There just has to be other life. Otherwise it would be an immense wastefulness of space."
Nobody can know whether there is other life. But there are more people who think 'there is' than 'there is not'. That's presumably why so many movies and many series were produced about this subject.
