From the Henrico County, Virginia Court Order Books for June 1698, page 77 comes:

In the miscellaneous Court Records of 1702, Page 5 we found William Tabor's household increased by one indentured servant.

The Henrico County Court Order Book for March 1712, page 225 had this :

Whereby a Judgement was this day granted to John Wortham gentleman for 425 pounds of pork in the case against William Tabor and Bartholomew Stovall who was returned his security therefore on motion of Bartholomew Stovall ordered that an attachment be issued said Tabor estate and will be of value sufficient to satisfy & Pay said pork in the cast returnable to the next court."

Sometime between March and November 1712, William Tabor died leaving a wife and two small sons. William's death did not stop the court action, but brought on an even greater flurry of it.

In the November Court of 1712, page 260 we find:

"Upon the petition of Hagar Tabor widow of William Tabor deceased and her making oath according to law for obtaining letters of administration on the land and estate in due form is granted to her, Richard Grille, John Blackmon, entering therefore security for the same and ordered that she present to the next court an inventory of the deceased estate that John Hodge, John Hopkins, Amos Locke and John Clarke or any 3 of them being first sworn by M. Abraham Solle do appraise the estate of William Tabor deceased and make return thereof to the next court."

The inventory was postponed until early spring. From the January Court of 1713 records, page 266 was the following:

The action of debt brought by John Howard against Hager Tabor on the estate of William Tabor deceased is deferred by the consent of the plaintiff.

From the February court 1713 records, page 269 was:

"The action of debt brought by John Stewart against Hagar Tabor administrix of the estate of William Tabor deceased default neither party appearing."

A copy of page 251, Henrico County March court 1713 reads:

At a court held for Henrico County the first day of March 1713 Hagar Tabor presented this Inventory upon Oath and the same was thereupon admitted to record Test William Randolph Cl Cur"

For April court 1713 on page 229 was found:

" The attachmt grantee Bartholomew Stovall at the last court against the estate of Wm Tabor dismissed he not appearing. Over a year later we found in the October court of 1714 on page 305, action between Richard Grille Plaintiff and Hagar Tabor defendant on the estate of Wm Tabor deceased the plaintiff not having filed their declaration in time on the defendants motion he is nonsuit and ordered to pay damages with costs according to law."

Bartholomew Stovall, in his will dated 14 January 1718 and probated 1 May 1721 Gave to Hagar Tabor then to her two small sons some land in Henrico County.

Note: Stovall as well as Tabor researchers believe Hagar was the daughter of Bartholomew by his first wife, but no proof of the first marriage or this birth can be found. Bartholomew Stovall, born 24 Aug 1665 in England, arrived indentured on 7 Jul 1684 on the "BOOTH "under Capt. Peter Pagan. Nothing is known of Bartholomew's actions between 1684 and his recorded marriage to Anne Burton on 8 Aug 1693 in Henrico County, Virginia.

From Henrico County Orphans Court dated 5 October 1725, came John Tabor son of Hagar Tabor deceased failing to appear and comply with order of September court relating to orphans it is ordered that he be summoned to appear at the next county court to comply with said order of Sept. court."
