Lord other kids have moms and
dads,
so what have  done wrong:
This orphanage. I tell you God,
Is not where I belong.
Down grown-up cheeks from
Arkansas,
Then came...a glad..Hello!

Hello again...it's me...Sarah!
My roots have grown in length;
I've fought to finally settle down,
God, thank you for the strength.

Lord, people know me better here,
Than any other place.
That little girl from Arkansas,
Just one familiar face!
Nights filled with awesome shadows
That danced across the moon...

Hello Again.. .It's Me...
Sarah!

That little girl from Arkansas,
Alone and on her way:
Her living soul, a tender bud,
Was sure to be okay...because

She sought out love like sunshine,
And kindness like the rain;
A rose unfolded through the years
Despite the droughts and pain...

When kids like Sarahs had hard times,
It's nothing they've done wrong;
The test is on the grown-ups:
Make sure these kids belong...

Unfolding in your tender smile,
Sweet love no child should miss;
Or caught up in a gentle hug...
Somewhere within your kiss!

For I am God and God is love,
And if you follow me,
Your love will rain and shine upon,
Sweet souls that count on me.

God walked into his living room,
to monitor his stars:
A string of angel networks,
Transmitting near and far

Like bean bags filling heaven's sky,
In puffy clouds of white,
An angel sat upon each one,
The shift that worked all night.

God's aura, it was shining bright...
Upon his couch he lie:
Surrounded by the golden screens,
Earth's signals to the sky.
Down teenage cheeks in Arkansas.
Then came...a sad..Hello.

Hello again... it's me...Sarah...
A man just took my hand;
He told me that he loves me so,
And now I wear his band.

Lord, now we have a family,
We move from here to there:
This little girl inside of me,
Stays deeply in despair.

It's every night come rain or shine,
We watch the teardrops flow:
On grown-up cheeks in Arkansas.
Then comes...a sad..Hello.
The resolution guarded,
No prayer could go unheard:
No audio would ever fail,
God had to hear each word.

And every night, come rain or shine,
He watched those teardrops flow:
Down little cheeks in Arkansas,
Then came...a sad..Hello.
Hello again...it's me...Sarah...
Star ninety-nine rang out:
Why are the children mean to me,
Her little voice would shout!
L like my ears, but God, they don't,
They also call me poor.
They say my teeth are different, too.
God, have you any more?
My roots are by the water now,
My home on Caddo Lake;
Come rain or shine, old friends
around,
I smile when I awake!

I fought so hard to find myself,
To stubbornly insist
On planting roots for all the love
My life had somehow missed.
It's every night come rain or shine,
He watched those tear drops flow:

Hello again...it's me...Sarah...
I've found a little town:
It feels good like my foster home;
I want to settle down.

My roots are finally spreading out,
An inner peace I've found,'
But God, they're jerked up once
again,
My mind just came unwound.

Then one night, no sob or whine,
They watched no teardrops flow:
On grown up cheeks from Arkansas;
Then came a glad..Hello!
Another night, no sob or whine,
They watched no teardrops flow:
Another night, no sob or whine,
Star ninety-nine rang out;
It's Sarah on her monitor,
The angels heard her shout...
Oh! Look how many friends of mine,
Have come and gathered 'round;
And what a birthday party,
Lord, My song, the greatest sound...

Their teardrops fill God's living
room,
Balloons they fill the screen:
Brightcolors floating 'mid the sky
Like God had never seen...

Each angel on God's nightshift
Reached out for his balloon:

It's every night, come rain or shine,
He watched those tear drops flow
Down little cheeks in Arkansas,
Then came...a sad..Hello.
Hello again...it's me...Sarah!
My daddy, he just died:
Don't look for me at Mama's house,
That's not where I'll reside.
They've placed me in a foster home,
And God, at first I cried;
I felt so guilty leaving Mom,
I must to you confide.

Hello again...it's me... Sarah!
I've found the strength to fight!
With pen in hand, I've waged a war
On pain, and now I write...

This little girl inside of me,
She's writing all the time:
Five books about her roads in life,
Some poetry and rhyme.
Then every night, come rain or shine
He watched those teardrops flow:
Down teenage cheeks in Arkansas,
Then came...a sad..Hello.

Hello again...it's me...Sarah...
I've such a broken heart,
Don't look for me at Martha's house:
My dreams just fell apart.
