| The average Thoroughbred is a little over 16 hands. It's appearance shows it's Arabian ancestry. Thoroughbreds have widely spaced, intelligent eyes and long necks. The withers are high, resulting in an evenly curved back. The shoulder is deep, muscular, and slopped.Their legs are long. Thier coats may be bay, dark bay, chestnut, black, or gray. Roans are seen rarely. White markings are often found on the face and legs. |
