This is another one of Momma's old recipes that is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 Cup honey (fresh local to your area honey tastes best)
1/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2/3 Cup broken pecans (can use pecans chopped into a medium size)
4 to 6 unbaked pastry tart shells
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Beat 2 eggs in a medium bowl. Blend in the honey, sugar, salt, vanilla, and pecan pieces.
Pour
mixture into the tart shells and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, remove from
the oven and let cool on a cooling rack. Can be eaten warm or stored in
a refrigerator until served, they are delicious either way. The number
of shells you use is depending on how full you wish your tarts to be.
