Pumpkin Pie Cake

Ingredients: Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup of the cake mix for the topping)
3/4 stick butter (melted)
1 egg beaten
Filling:
1 large can pumpkin (2 pie size)
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup canned milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon ginger & clove (just a sprinkle)
pumpkin pie spice to taste
Topping:
1 cup reserved cake mix
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1/3 stick cold margarine Directions:Cake:
Place the cake mix, melted butter, and egg into a mixing bowl and beat
with a fork until blended. Press the mixture into the bottom of a
greased 13x9 inch cake pan.
Filling: Place the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat well, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl. Once everything is mixed thoroughly, pour the filling evenly over the cake mix.
Topping: Place the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Once everything is mixed thoroughly, sprinkle the topping over the top of the filling in the cake pan.
Bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees.
Top with whip cream and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.
