Over the years, there were times in my life when I came to a desperate standstill and days arrived that were impossible to live _ And then a word came, a single word from God, and it was the only thing that made me live again! How much I cherish these words! Every time they come, I scribble them on a piece of paper and pin them up somewhere, sometimes for months, so that I can �chew them over�, savor them and eat them! This work started with a Christmas present: a calligraphy pen. At first I did it for myself, then later for friends and over the last few years when the demand exceeded the time available to me I had to find ways to reproduce them. The verses, almost all, are ones that were born within me with new understanding, by God�s grace, at some point of my life. I try to keep the writing style simple and not too elaborate as I think that nothing should draw the attention more than the text presented. My hearts desire is that the text will touch others as it has touched me and minister the truth that is hidden in it. My husband Jimmy and I have lived in Athens with our two children for the last 20 years and are currently working full time with International Teams at the Helping Hands Refugee center in Athens, a mission working amongst the millions of Muslim refugees that are flooding Athens. It will also help to support some of the work here in Athens amongst the refugees, as the growing vision in my heart is to be able to disciple women and families whilst establishing and teaching them a craft.
