Yesterday's Dogs

Brandy came from a pet store--the first Saint I had ever seen. NOT A GOOD IDEA. We spent more on vet bills during his first year of life than we did on his original cost. Second, it is good to see an adult saint and realize that this precious pup will grow unbelievably fast, and will need time, space, and commitment to make you both happy. It makes no difference if you want a pet to love and be your best friend, or you want to show your dog and possibly breed your Saint one day, my advice would be the same: Go to a breed club. Go to dog shows. Talk to people who own a Saint. Talk to your vet about possible health questions. Take your time. It is a commitment for life. Please don't rush.
